I have a beautiful, inspiring, joyful client,

    with the worrrrrsttttt ex-husband.

I sincerely hope you're not in this boat, but maybe you know the type:

😞 Doesn't hold up his end of their agreement to pitch in for extracurriculars and camps, leaving her scrambling to "figure it out",

😠 Just decides not to pay her child support here and there, despite making 6 times her income,

😡 Refuses to budge on his days with the kids, so she has to turn down experiences that fill her cup,

🤯 While simultaneously just deciding not to pick the kids up on other days/for weeks at a time,

😭 And, of course, gaslighting her to make her think it's her fault when she questions any of it.

The amount of space this man's bullsh*t takes up in her beautiful brain is brutal. She's been feeling like the only way out is through a lawyer, which is too expensive.

As an Ayurvedic Health Counselor, my #1 goal is helping people find space in their brains & bodies for happiness.

It starts with painting a picture of the path you're currently on.

With kids (one who's only 3 years old), there's no end to the bullsh*t in sight.
Another 15 years (at least).... so she asked herself:

What will that look like as their kids grow? As they become more discerning observers of this relationship?

How much time will she have to waste on him, that could have been spent on building relationships with those she loves, or with herself?

How emotionally worn will she be on the other side? How will this affect her future relationships?

What is it worth, to change this?

Suddenly.... it felt like no amount is "too expensive".

It suddenly felt like this might be one of the most important, life-changing investments this dear woman could make in her future.

And so, I literally jumped out of my chair with excitement the other day when she told me she's hired a lawyer.

    Frig yes.

My client's life experience over the last few years is a pretty solid example of:

how most people approach uncomfortable situations.

    Put up with it.

Try not to think about it.

Just hope it'll get better on its own.

Sometimes it's relationship or work stuff, but most often,
these 👆👆👆 avoidance tactics come up around our health & well-being.

    • Feeling tired all the time, and just putting up with it.

    • Gaining uncomfortable amounts of weight, and just trying not to think about it.

    • Experiencing pretty chronic aches and pains, hoping they’ll go away on their own.

Is there anything like this going on in your life?

    Maybe it's worth asking yourself:

    1. What will that look like as your kids grow? As they become more discerning observers of your relationship with yourself? (or what has it looked like and how has it formed them?)

    2. How much time could you miss out on due to that fatigue/pain/stress, that could have been spent on building relationships with those you love, or on loving yourself?

    3. How emotionally worn will you be if you continue to disconnect from your body this way? How will this affect your relationship with yourself/others?

What is it worth, to change this?
