in your 20s

the prime of your life. In the chapter where you're meant to feel the most vibrant, you find yourself feeling anxious or depressed. You're insecure about your path, insecure about yourself. Being alone with yourself feels difficult.

in your 30s or 40s

Some things have come together, perhaps you've got a great job or a comfortable home or the right spouse. Perhaps you're a mother. On paper your life looks good, but it just doesn't feel the way you thought it would. You're frequently overwhelmed, and feel like in between all of your responsibilities there's little time for you. You're burning the candle at both ends, and starting to feel burned out.

in your 50s or 60s

And though your role as caregiver has lessened and you have more time to care for yourself, you're not sure where to start. You spent so many years caring for everyone else that you feel disconnected from yourself. You're drained, and symptoms of illness are emerging.
